“Face to face on Brunello”
On October 3rd, in the Aula Magna of Siena University, Ezio Rivella (Villa Banfi), coupled with the oenologist Vittorio Fiore, both supporters of a Brunello produced not only with Sangiovese grapes, will discuss the future of Brunello with our fellow wine writer Franco Ziliani, coupled with traditional Barolo producer Teobaldo Cappellano from Serralunga d’Alba, strong supporter of a Brunello di Montalcino made only with Sangiovese grapes from Montalcino. The diverse proposals of changes in denomination regulations will be examined.
This “Face to face on Brunello” is promoted by “Vinarius”, an Italian wine shops association. The debate will be live broadcasted in streaming on www.intoscana.it and on www.vinarius.it.
